We found out that some builders just leave out stuff that most people would assume are part of the building process.
The following illustration is very important and should not be ignored. The additional expenses are potential expenses based on choosing the other builder.

AllState Homes: Includes a superior combination of wire mesh and 3000 psi fiber-mesh concrete.
Other builders: 2500 PSI foundation without wire mesh or fiber mesh.

What is your standard interior electrical service?
AllState Homes: 200 amp electric service
Other builders: 150 amp service
Additional expense to you: $1,000.00
How much fill is included in your foundation?
AllState Homes: All fill is included in the three courses of block
Other builder: No fill is included inside or outside of the foundation
Additional expense: $5,000.00
Are permits included in your base price?
AllState Homes: Yes
Other builder: no

Architectural engineering and design services included?

Can you make changes to the floor plan?
AllState Homes: Yes we allow clients to customize floor plans, add porches, change rooflines, elevations, room dimensions etc ... WE HAVE AN ARCHITECT ON STAFF WILLING TO LISTEN AND INCORPORATE YOUR DESIGN IDEAS MAKING YOUR HOME TRULY YOUR HOME. We are a custom builder without custom prices. We even build plans from scratch.
Other builders: Other builders do not allow you to modify their existing plans without paying a huge expense for design services AND MOST BUILDERS ALLOW NO MODIFICATION AT ALL TO THEIR STOCK BUILDING PLANS.
Is Lot grading included in your base price?
AllState Homes will include three lot gradings in our prices.
Other builders: lot grading is an extra

Is the electric service and electric power pole included in your price?
AllState Homes: yes
Other builders: no
Cost to you: $1,250.00
Choices?
We have unlimited options and choices from insulation to granite tops. Many of our competitors have extremely limited choices for paint and cabinets.
Does the builder include the temporary toilet?
AllState Homes: yes
Other builders: no
Cost to you: $3,000
This is included in the cost to build our new homes and the required service to maintain the temporary toilet. With many builders these are hidden or additional charges.
Is Dumpster service and material clean up included in your price?
AllState Homes: yes
Other builders: no
Cost to you: $ 3,000.00 The dumpster service and the maintenance and clean-up of your building lot including the periodic cleaning of your site and the home under construction is included in our price. The cost of these items can be thousands of dollars. Most builders will charge extra for this which can be quite a surprise and we include this!!
So what does this add up to?
AllState Homes: Nothing it’s already included in the price.
Other builders: To build a structurally equivalent home it would cost you $28,000 extra to equal a home built by AllState Homes Inc.
